JUNIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

Rina is looking for a Junior Process Engineer in the Oil&Gas and Energy sector. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects and his / her main interfaces will be colleagues both from the same team and from different departments, clients and suppliers.
The candidate will be based in Genoa or Milan or Fano.
We offer a fixed term contract.

Main tasks:

  • Development of concept design and feasibility study relating to assets in the Energy sector
  • Development of the typical documentation of process engineering, in the Basic, FEED and Detail design phase:
    • Process schemes such as PFDs, UFDs, P & IDs
    • Mass and energy balances
    • Lists of equipment, lines, fluids, instruments, etc.
    • Datasheet and/or duty spec of equipment and instruments
    • Calculation report of process system and utilities
    • Cause / effect matrix, logic diagrams, process narratives and operational philosophies
  • Hydraulic sizing of the lines and of the main process equipment
  • Process simulations, using specific software
  • Development of dedicated calculation sheet

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

RINA is looking for a Power Systems Consulting Engineer keen to develop a career in consultancy, this role offers Design, Owners Engineering and Independent Engineering involvement in many high profile projects within the EMEA region. You will be expected to travel approximately 10% of your time.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing resource, technology, structural studies, electrical design, contractual documentation, environmental studies, permitting, health & safety reports, grid offers and connection agreements
  • Conducting site visits/joining Senior Consultants on site visit inspections and supporting the production of reports;
  • Carrying out electrical design and equipment sizing studies;
  • Coordinating consultancy activities on allocated projects;
  • Input into risk management, including construction, operational, and financial risk;

RAILWAY SIGNALLING SAFETY ASSESSOR AND TESTING ENGINEER

RINA is seeking a newly graduate or a Junior Railway Signalling Safety Assessor and Testing Engineer who will be part of the Railway Certification Business Unit.
The candidate will report to the Railway Certification Laboratory & Safety Assessment for Products & Railway Class A Systems Manager and will work executing specific tasks as a member of teams for the Independent Safety Assessment (ISA), European Certification according to TSI-CCS and Testing of trackside and onboard signaling products and systems for Italian and international projects.
Main tasks:

  • ISA tasks (execution of activities and reports): Document Inspection, Auditing and Test Witnessing, addressing:
    • System level: system and RAMS engineering, hazard analyses and risk control, system adaptation, configuration and installation
    • HW solutions, design review, implementation, installation, Environmental and EMC compatibility in the specific application
    • SW solutions, design review, implementation, adaptation, modification, installation
    • Application Engineering, Design and Manufacturing activities
    • Testing and/or Test Witnessing in lab and on field (trackside and on-board)

RINA is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Industry Business Unit in Milan.

This new role will be instrumental in the development and growth of Consultancy Services across our industry sectors. We are looking for a Business Development Manager with an engineering background and experience of working across Industry projects ideally focused on On Premises and Task Consultancy Services to provide the momentum we need to realise our vision and achieve our growth plans.

You will work closely with the Business Development Director to strategically and proactively develop new business across high caliber professional services to support our maturing campaign plans. RINA has a number of capabilities and services that can be offered in different delivery methods.
